Please someone explain why JLo and Marc Anthony are selling pictures of their twins for $6 million. That is a hot mess. I'm saying if I could sell a picture of my little sister for $6 million, I would - but I would acknowledge that I'm exploiting her because she's a baby and can't do anything.

But what are JLo and Marc's thoughts? And, what are they doing with the money? Please tell me they are setting up some kind of fund or donating it to a favorite charity. And, I gues [...]

I saw this article the other day about chavo-novelas. Apparently, financial companies and banks - who wish to remain anonymous - are funding novelas. So, I've taking this class called "Theorizing Civic Engagement" and we were talking about the separation of church and state in relation to Bush's "charitable choice" program where both secular (non-religious) and faith-based organizations could receive government funding for their service and outreach. Black History Month

Yesterday mi hermanito called me telling me he got in trouble at school because he asked all of his teachers why they weren't studying black history month. The teachers told him that either because they didn't know anything about it (in a predominately black and hispanic school!!! q ridiculo!!!) or that black history had nothing to do with lets say "American politics."
