Permanent collection offers important works of modern masters

This collection demonstrates the success obtained by the Museum of Latin American Art in its decade-long project of building a notable collection of 20^th Century works.  Many works here highlight the symbiosis of universal styles and regional interests, including masterpieces by Rufino Tamayo, Antonio Sequi, David Alfaro Siquieros, and many others.  Important works by emerging artists are also highlighted.  The Museum also offers hands-on workshops, lectures, and performances; free admission on Fridays; other special programs.  MoLAA, 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802; 562.437.1689.
