Accessories to me...
The dictionary states accessories are items worn or used for a fashionable effect, but to me fashion accessories define a person's unique individuality. Accessories are the final touch to your outfit. It transforms your outfit into something that expresses personal style. They can be worn for casual day time activities or attending a formal event. Accessories are needed to accentuate and complete a fashionable look. Here I will speak of one dress and three possible accessorial items.
A white linen dress with simple accessories such as an orange wooden piece shoulder bag with white flip flops, wooden bangles and gold hoops would give this outfit a Latin bohemian look.
Second outfit would be the same dress with a black solid leather tote with white or black thongs and a silk yellow, white and black scarf draped around the neck. The hint of color adds an abstract appeal to your black and white outfit. This outfit gives a fina (sophisticated) sleek chic look.
The third way this dress can be accessorized is to pair it up with a straw beach bag and gold bangles with gold chunky earrings. Wrapping a pink satin scarf around your head (bandana style) achieving a flirty girlie look.
Accessories symbolize diversity. It gives versatility to any outfit giving you a sense of creativity. It can also help you keep some extra cash in your pockets.
