Hybrid Art by Hybrid Artist Now in LA

This notable exhibit comes to the Los Angeles area, after a much-lauded run in Miami.  Lam is Cuba's most notable visual artist, and certainly among the 20th century masters of Latin America.  His training and affinity with Modernist and Surrealist art provided a vehicle of expression for his Sino-Afro-Cuban cultural heritage, bringing his vision of modern art full circle to its non-Western inspiration.
