Latinas Play Big Part in Team USA

Flyweight Amaris Quintana, from San Diego, California. Born October 22, 1989, 5'2", 108 lbs.
Flyweight Katherine Rodriguez, from Riverside, California. Born March 4, 1990, 5'2", 105 lbs.
Flyweight Marlen Esparza, from Houston, Texas. Born July 29, 1989; 5'3", 106 lbs. Was National Champion in 2008, 2007, and 2006. She is college-bound, in the top ten percent of her class.
Light Bantamweight Nicole Pasillas, from Aurora, Colorado. Born April 10, 1989, 5'1", 114 lbs.
Bantamweight Cynthia Moreno, from Phoenix, Arizona. Born July 2, 1990, 5'1", 119 lbs.
Bantamweight Christina Cruz, from New York, New York. Born December 12, 1982; 5'5", 119 lbs.
Bantamweight Raelene Pineda, from San Bernadino, California. Born September 25, 1990, 5'3", 119 lbs.
Featherweight Mercedes Manriquez, from Houston, Texas. Born May 18, 1989; 5'5", 125 lbs.
